Double Tino

Double Tino

Built by Bodsen of France this is the only known working example. Having taken three years of restoration, the mannequins who represent Tino Rossi and an accompanying percussionist are set in a French Cafe scene. These works of art, whose heads were manufactured by Madame Tussard's, have realistic facial expressions and play their instruments with agility. You'll be amazed how Tino's eyes follow you wherever you are.
Playing french salon music of the Edwardian period, which is activated by rolls and working on a vacuum system, it is a pleasure to watch
